Smothered Boca Turk'y Burgers

Using The Original Boca Turk'y burgers, I created this delicious meal. Paired with a side of chunky mashed potatoes and green beans. Smothered Turk'y in a delicious vegan mushroom gravy. This is a must try for our next dinner!


Ingredients
1 cup sliced baby bella mushrooms
1/2 onion diced
1/2tsp onion powder
1/2tsp garlic powder
2tsp vegan chicken flavoring (optional)
3Tbs dairy free butter
3Tbs all purpose flour
3 cups unsweetened dairy free milk (I used cashew milk)
salt and pepper to taste
1 package of Original Boca Turk'y Burgers

Directions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat sautĂ© mushrooms and onions in 1Tbs of oil of choice. When onions are translucent and mushrooms are cooked add in onion powder, garlic powder, and vegan chicken flavoring. Melt butter with mushroom mix and add in flour.  while mixing let mixture cook for 2 min.
2. Pour in dairy free milk, about 1/4 cup at a time. Mixing with a whisk or fork after every pour until gravy is smooth with no lumps. Add milk until it is used up. If gravy is too thick add in additional milk. Salt and pepper gravy to taste.
3. Place frozen Boca Turk'y burgers into gravy reduce heat to medium/low. Let simmer with lid on for 6-10min. Until burgers are cooked thoroughly. Serve and enjoy!
