Quick Recipe

Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Covered Dates

If you are not familiar with what a date is, it’s this wonderful fruit that has a caramel like taste. It’s packed with minerals, vitamins, and fiber. It was perfect that I paired this with my favorite nut  butter and dark chocolate. With only three ingredients you can have a delicious treat whenever your sweet tooth is calling. The possibilities are endless, instead of adding peanut butter add a large pecan in the middle of the Dates, cover it in chcolate and you’ll have a whole foods turtle. No added sugars, no chemicals, no preservatives just amazing tasting candy!

1. Pit your dates, and split them in half.  Add a teaspoon of the nut buuter of your choice in the middle of each date. Pressing both sides of the dates together.  (I used crunchy peanut butter)
