Healthy Morning Granola Fix 

This satisfying, sweet and salty granola will have you ready for the day! Omega 3s, fiber, protein, healthy fats, and natural sweetener to make this granola oh so special! 1/2 cup servings. 

 

Ingredients 
4 cups old fashion oats 
1 cup sliced almonds 
1/4 cup chia seeds 
1/4 cup milled flax seeds 
1/2tsp cinnamon 
1tsp sea salt 
1/2 cup coconut oil 
1/2 cup pure maple syrup or agave syrup 
1tsp pure vanilla extract 
2/3 cup dried cranberries or dried fruit of choice (optional) 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. In a large bowl combine oats, chia seed, flax seeds, cinnamon, and salt. Mix together until combined. 
  3. Melt coconut oil in microwave until liquid. Add the coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to oat mixture and mix until granola is coated. Pour onto pan and spread into even layer. 
  4. Place in oven for 20-25 min until golden brown. Half way through baking, mix granola. And place back into the oven to finish. Let cool completely before breaking apart and mixing in dried cranberries. Store in air tight containers.
