Snicker Doodle 

Cinnamon sugar delights! If you love classic snicker doodles you’ll love these! Another great recipe for your next Christmas party! Pairs great with cinnamon cashew milk. 




Ingredients

2 cups unbleached flour 
1tsp cinnamon 
1tsp baking soda 
1/4 tsp salt 
1/2 cup dairy free butter softened 
1/2 cup organic brown sugar 
1/2 cup pure cane sugar
1/4 cup apple sauce or 2 flax seeds (2Tbs flax mill 4Tbs cold water) 
1tsp pure vanilla extract 
Cinnamon and sugar to roll dough in

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit 
2. In a medium bowl combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt set aside. 
3. In a large bowl with a hand mixer cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and cane sugar until light and fluffy. Add apple sauce or flax seed and vanilla extract mix until combined. Add in flour one half at a time until dough is completely combined. 
4. Roll tablespoon sized scoops of dough into a ball and roll into cinnamon and sugar. Place on  lightly greased cookie sheet or parchment paper lined cookie sheet (recommended). 
5. Cook for 10-12 min. Should be pale color, and lightly brown on bottoms. Dough can be made ahead of time and frozen until ready to use. Use the same method, cooking time, and temperature.
