You get a caramel chocolate taste with this ingredient combo.

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups rolled old fashion oats
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup milled flax seeds
1Tbs cinnamon
8 pitted dried date chopped
3Tbs cacao powder
3/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter or nut butter of choice
Dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Prepare a small cookie sheet or pan of choice by greasing or lining with parchment paper. In a large bowl combine oats, hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, cinnamon, chopped dried dates, and cacao powder and mix together. Set aside.
  2. In a medium sauce pan over medium/low heat add maple syrup, chunky peanut butter(nut butter), and dash of salt. Mix completely. Let come to a slow boil for about 5min. Take off heat and add vanilla.
  3. Pour maple mixture on top of oat mixture and combine completely until everything is coated. Working quickly, shape granola mixture into the prepared small cookie sheet or any pan you desire. Press firmly into desired shape. (Tip: wet hands before pressing, helps the mixture not stick to hands.)
  4. Place granola bars into the freezer for 30min to an hour. And cut into bars. It’s ready to eat. Store in fridge in air right container and enjoy!
